Judicial Circuit Assessment Committee hears public testimony October 13 in Tampa
The Judicial Circuit Assessment Committee (JCAC) will hold a public hearing beginning at 10 a.m. (EDT) on Friday, October 13, 2023, at the George Edgecomb Courthouse, 800 East Twiggs Street in Tampa.
Members of the public may attend in person or virtually; those attending virtually must register in advance.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments from the public. Those who wish to speak during the hearing must complete an appearance form whether they will speak in person or remotely.
This is the second and anticipated final public hearing for the JCAC. Details and further instructions are on the JCAC webpage.
The committee was created by Florida Supreme Chief Court Justice E. Carlos Muñiz in Administrative Order SC23-35. It is charged with studying whether consolidating the state’s existing twenty judicial circuits is warranted.
